About Hawraa

Every child deserves a place where they feel safe, understood, and valued, especially during life's more challenging seasons. My goal is to create a warm and welcoming space where children and teens can be themselves, explore their emotions, and build the confidence and coping skills they need to thrive.

I am a Limited License Master Social Worker (LLMSW) who is passionate about helping children, adolescents, and their families navigate life’s challenges with compassion, connection, and hope. As an Arab American therapist, I value providing culturally responsive and inclusive care that honors each child’s unique story, strengths, and goals.

I support children and teens experiencing:

  • Anxiety & OCD

  • Depression

  • ADHD

  • Trauma

  • Emotional regulation challenges

  • Self-esteem concerns

  • School difficulties

  • Bullying and peer relationships

  • Family relationship concerns

  • Grief & loss

  • Life transitions

My approach is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based. I tailor therapy to each child's unique needs by integrating evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, ACT, mindfulness, play-informed interventions, attachment-informed care, and family systems principles. I believe therapy should be personalized, engaging, and developmentally appropriate, creating space for children to heal, grow, and discover their strengths. One of my greatest joys as a therapist is watching a child discover that they're braver, stronger, and more capable than they ever imagined.

My clinical experience includes providing individual, group, and family therapy in inpatient behavioral health and juvenile justice settings, supporting youth with a wide range of emotional and behavioral needs. I value partnering with parents, caregivers, schools, and other providers to support each child’s growth both inside and outside of therapy. It would be a privilege to walk alongside your family as your child heals, grows, and discovers the strengths that have been within them all along.
