About Dia

Dia Jwainat is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LMSW-C) who provides individual and family therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. She supports clients experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, OCD, and emotional overwhelm, and works collaboratively to help clients feel more grounded, understood, and in control of their lives.

Dia’s therapeutic approach is trauma-informed, compassionate, and practical. She helps clients explore how past experiences, thought patterns, and emotions impact their daily lives, while building effective coping strategies and emotional regulation skills. Dia integrates evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), motivational interviewing, attachment-based therapy, and family systems approaches to support meaningful and lasting change.

Dia is especially thoughtful in her work with clients who feel stuck, anxious, or weighed down by intrusive thoughts, low mood, or unresolved trauma. She creates a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can move at their own pace, develop insight, and strengthen resilience.

As a bilingual therapist fluent in Arabic and English, Dia offers culturally responsive care that honors each client’s background, values, and lived experience. At Mindful Mind Therapy, she is committed to helping clients feel supported, empowered, and hopeful as they work toward healing and balance.
